Watinapaha Farmer Group
Watinapaha Farmer group is located in the Gampha District. They grow Lemon grass, Turmeric and Ginger. These are organic horticulture crops.

Presently the method they use to process turmeric & ginger is by boiling them in caldrons & drying them under the sun. With this method the maximum a farmer could process is around 50kgs of turmeric or ginger per week. The average harvest from each farmer is around 1000kgs. This method of processing is also hampered by south west monsoon rain which will start immediately after the harvesting season. As a result these crops are being exposed to Yeast & Mold during the rainy season.
